The intention was to bring Handel's music right into the center of the town from May 12-22, 2022. And you can't get any more central in Göttingen than at the Nabel (naval). For twenty horn-filled minutes, it actually became the navel of the (everyday) world for well-informed Festival fans and those who just happened to be passing by – thanks to Daniele Bolzonella, Gijs Laceulle, Federico Cuevas Ruiz and Anton Koch of the FestspielOrchester Göttingen. And Burkhard Scheibe, of course, who captured the musical lunch break with his camera.
